Darcy is an entrepreneur, media and communications professional, and business development executive with more than twenty years of experience in emerging technologies, start-ups and commercialization in the private and public sectors. Currently, she heads up corporate and foundation relations activities for the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and oversees funding for UIC's environmental and entrepreneurship initiatives. She was previously an award-winning business technology columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times and founder of the venture-funded I-Street, Inc.
